Calsion Medium-Voltage Uninterruptible Power Supply System employs highly reliable synchronous UPS hosts, integrated energy storage devices, transformers, reactors, switchgear, and diesel generator sets to form a complete medium-voltage uninterruptible power solution. In large-scale uninterruptible power applications, medium-voltage UPS systems offer distinct advantages. Deployed at the front end of power supply systems, they simplify infrastructure, reduce investment costs, and enhance power delivery efficiency.

Calsion medium-voltage uninterruptible power systems serve applications requiring large-scale uninterruptible power, including data centers, semiconductor factories, and high-end industrial manufacturing. Equipped with large-scale energy storage batteries, they can also be extended for peak shaving applications, reducing electricity costs.

Operating mode

The main unit adopts a synchronous generator, equipped with flywheel mechanical energy storage, and its power ranges from 560 to 3600 kVA.

Flywheel DVR is a voltage regulation system utilizing mechanical inertia energy storage to provide stable power for critical loads.

It primarily consists of a motor/generator, flywheel energy storage unit, reactors, and other components.

During normal utility power conditions, electricity drives the flywheel to rotate and store energy via the motor/generator. When utility voltage sags or fluctuates, the flywheel’s rotational inertia drives the motor/generator to generate electricity, stabilizing the supply line voltage.

The online-operating reactor and motor/generator perform voltage stabilization, filtering, and reactive power compensation, effectively improving power quality.
