The Jinan Center for National Supercomputing is one of the three major centers for multi quadrillion supercomputing in China, alongside the Tianjin and Shenzhen centers. The center has built China’s first fully self-developed CPU based supercomputer center, equipped with the “Shenwei Blue Light” computer system and 8704 “Shenwei 1600” processors, with a peak computing speed of 10706 quadrillion times per second. In 2018, the Shenwei E-Class computing prototype was built, achieving the localization of core components. Deploying a new generation of Shanhe supercomputing platform in 2021, with comprehensive computing power entering the forefront internationally
